zingHOUSEunlimited.com is a lifestyle design enterprise and research network offering an expanding range of services and products. <zHu> has an extensive and somewhat eclectic range of people in the network and people who able to deliver a diverse range of products and services. However, the network is primarily focused upon cultural production and the enterprises cultural producers interface with.

The business is currently in the early stages of development. Nevertheless, we welcome enquiries from cultural producers, those marketing cultural products in all fields and others – in particular those working in the area of the visual arts and design.

If asked if there is a particular area of cultural production that <zHu> has an enduring interest in then we’d have to say that it is broadly to do the jewellery and metalsmithing. However both these terms are eclectic and expansive – and have been so for eons. Alongside that, in the 21st Century art practices are becoming increasing porous and the boundaries between them are dissolving apace. Some argue that this has always been the case and we have no reason to contradict them.

With all this in mind, and coupled with the collective experiences that have brought us to this point, the various people in our network came to the realisation that it was timely that we should 'formalise' our relationships and build an Internet facilitated enterprise around our collective know-how. Collectively, we believe that we have much to offer within the network itself and to our clients.

Ray & Pat Norman, <zHu> current Co-Directors, have collective experiences built up over 30 plus years. Recently they have been focused on research in the area of cultural production. However their experience goes beyond studio production and includes training, lecturing, event facilitation, exhibition curation, arts administration, webdesign, graphic design, collecting, marketing and retail selling. As a result of this diversity of activity the networks they have established, and have become a part of, over time are reasonably extensive.

Throughout his career Ray has been included in major exhibitions that have toured nationally in Australia and internationally. He is represented in major public collections throughout Australia and has carried out many major commissions for both private clients and public institutions. He has also conducted many sessional workshops and given papers at various conferences in his field throughout Australia. As a consequence Ray brings to the <zHu>network first hand experience that has already proved useful within the network. Likewise he has been a beneficiary of members' skills and experience. Now that the <zHu>network is becoming somewhat more formalised via this enterprise we trust that together we can put our collective know-hows to work for <zHu>clients.

As zingHOUSEunlimited.com grows we expect that so too will the range of products and services we can deliver and facilitate via the <zHu>network. So, as they say in the movies, "watch this space".
